The Bearded Lady.

This is a story about an unconventional beauty, inspired by the regal figures seen in classical paintings combined with uncanny magical elements found in urban legends and myths of the Bearded Lady. Her beard is made entirely of flowers which change according to seasons.  Here we observe her in situ, as she sits on a chair in an almost meditative state, near a window with soft daylight falling over her face, as though she has not moved for years.  And yet seasons change around her.

Two months ago Louise and I got to shoot the beautiful Isobel from Tamblyn. With help by the talented Lauren Chalmers looking after beauty.

Taking inspiration from structure and femininity. This was the outcome.

Enjoy.

Izzy Pop!

For this editorial I got to work along a group of talented creatives for  Atlas Magazines 'Electric Issue'.

The story is about a girl who's personality is as electric as the sparkly, colourful numbers she pulls off. She is not afraid to stand out from the crowd, wear stickers on her face and be eccentric and eclectic in her taste. Super kawaii if I must say.

Flowers are up in the air.

Inspired by the song 'Fire in the Water - Feist' designer Krizelle Fundano creates a 6 piece collection around the idea of evolving and metamorphosis.

Just as the song progresses and builds towards the end so does her collection.Taking inspiration from flowers as well, and how they begin to bloom represents a girl growing up, blossoming into a woman.

Using wool and pina fabric throughout the collection Krizelle has carefully designed each piece/look to represent a stage of metamorphosis.

I was fortunate enough to be apart of this incredible project and style her look book.So be sure to remember  the name 'Izeefundano' because this lovely lady is bound for big and great things.

Thanks to the incredible team who were apart of this project.

Fragments

Forget about  The Jetsons and Iris Van Herpern. The future is all about a minimal aesthetic, clean lines and silver accents. Well, for me that is.

Around  June this year I got the chance to work along side with two talented ladies Rachel Dray photographer and model Edyn from EMG. Four months later I can now happily share with you all what we got up to.  Hope you enjoy this beautiful editorial.

P.s- Hope your liking the new header.

Arian Camilleri

Arian Camilleri is a New York city based photographer who specialises in still life. I'm not too sure what it is, but there is something about his work that makes 'still life' more than just a 'photo of a random object'. Whether it may be because  it's photographed beautifully, or that his work conveys a strong message, Camilleri is great at what he does.

Here are some of my favorite photo's of his work.
